Every few days / weeks / months we aim to bring you a new installment of development Banter, a podcast we run which is entirely dedicated to discussing the development of the mods and indie games. Our aim is to line up cool developers from interesting upcoming and complete projects, and grill them about their work, ask them the tough questions and hopefully entertain you in the process.
So tune in (watch this group and join this group) if you have always wanted to listen to a show about Developers doing what they do best, making the Mods and Games that we all love to play. Consider development banter a laid back chat entertaining advice line for the ModDB community.
This time in the hot seat is the Project Reality team, creators of the team play oriented mod for Battlefield 2.

Sweetness!
Regarding the map, ask the guys from Isotx how they did it for IG Warlord ;)
We need to buy some of the Devs better mics, hehe.
lol, they did the interview, relesed the patch, then released the interverw (i think) lol
Of course the realism mod would work on the Source engine, Insurgency in on the Source Engine. Although I don't think you'd be able to get vehicles to work very well.
R&L is fun, although it does lack vehicles. But it's more because the Source Engine can't handle vehicles and stuff like that. That's what we have Forgotten Hope 2 for ;D .
I would agree though, that this would have never worked on the Source engine and nothing like this would have worked on that engine. The BF2 engine was a great engine to choose to make PR on.
Again, I would agree the EA booster packs are REALLY weak. They're no where near 10 bucks a piece when mods like PR are much, much better.
dude Nickelpat there are tons of source mods with vehicles
okay more like 4 or 5 but still it works fine from what i've seen =P
would probably be hard though.
Dude,Empires has vehicles, just no realism.. :P
How do I install this mod i can't open setup
Twas' awesome! "hookers and blow" :D
Realism in games equals massive boredom!! Not that Realism in games is possible, but it is boring.
Have you ever played Project Reality ?
Wow, I must be out of my mind playing Project Reality for the last year or so - how could I have played a game so boring for so long!
To be honest, the factor of patience to PR weeds out the losers and tards that would ruin it otherwise. I'm glad another unhappy customer bit the dust - that is if you have even played it yet.
yea thats stupid man, vBF2 is terrible, all games should be realistic, even those based in the future or Sci-Fi games should still be based on realism, i dont wanna float about in a fancy stupid world that relates to this world in no way what so ever!!!!!!!!!!!!
I tried this, it's far too similar to bf2. All I want is BF2 with modifiable damages, speeds, everything so I can mess with the gameplay while I play.
ah its completely different...
You got TOLD by Henley nemesis.
Sounds like you need to go play BF2 again just to remind yourself how different it is.
Buy BF 2 for me and I'll try the Mod ^^
lol HI !!! I LIKE PIE
One of my top 5 fav mods of all time, keep it up guys!
