I guess the idea is there, just need to improve the overall model, and get a new texture.
Its a bit hard to fit all the faces in a tiny 512x512 image, especially for big models.
It depends on poly/tri count :P btw it is your mod's stuff, all units will be textured similarly?
not at all, but they will use the same colors.
