when Westwood is still a small company where many of the crews having their appearance in the cinematics.
and in a way, it was better.
The acting seemed more authentic back then, to me at least.
You are not alone.
For example TW's acting was horrible - the lines were rattered down like from a machine, the emotions were pretty much non-existant and some of the actors had about the same roles (Nod suffered from this).
RA3's acting was as over the top as everything else in the game so it gets a pass.
The acting in TS and RA2 was not bad, in fact apart from a few times it was prety good.
And who can forget Stalin in RA1? :P
Still, Kane was awesome in all 4 CnCs. As much as I HATE the fourth one.
Frank also appeared in an allied cutscene IIRC
