Most of the Black Swans were refugees, some the only survivors of families obliterated by Serbian ethnic cleansing. They began as a few dozen men who had been driven from their hometown, Bijeljina, in the first battle of the war.

The Black Swans wore black uniforms with a unit patch on the sleeves and the ARBIH patch on the other sleeve. They had two different versions of the patches. Special Unit Army of BIH is written in white lettering above the picture and underneath in black letters are the words, "Crni Labudovi".

They were not made by gysies, who would even say that? That is an insult. The Black Swans were made up of war refugees in Bosnia as Ado13 said before. As I said before, they were NOT made by gypsies and they were bosnians fighting for what they love and for freedom.

I am not saying that being a gypsy is bad, my apologies if you thought I meant that. If he is a veteran than he might be right. My question to you is: Is the veteran a bosniak or is he from another culture? Just a random question :)

He was in the Bosnian Elite Forces before the war started. As he said only 6 of them survived through the war. I will not say his whole name only his first name is "Karat" a Bosnian Muslim but he wasnt the only one who sayd to me the facts about Bosna. Here is 4 more people living here from Bosna there arent Muslims there a Catholics and say the same as he that they were mostly mady by Gyps but is true that through all the time in war there were Bosniaks and Gypsies bouth in Crni Labudovi. Even a Serbian sayd so even he didnt like them :)
I yust wanted to say that I like that Bosniaks were fighting side by side with Gypsies even through they mostly hate them as all of the Balkan inhabitants. But everyone got their reasons "maybe".
But still think Balkan was better when TiTo was there

Why the bosniaks were fighting side by side with the "gypsies" was because they had the same ideology, a free and independent Bosnia! You gave me some background info about "Karat" and I think he's right. ;)

Just some random facts and my opinion; I, and hundreds of thousands of Bosniaks, did not like Tito's communism and we therefore think it is better now than it were when Tito was dictator of Yugoslavija. Why do we think like this? Well, because communism never brought good things to Bosnia. Only bad. And no one wants to live in a dictatorship where the dictator himself favors serbs to have the whole Balkans to themselves. We all want democracy, right? But this is my opinion and your opinion remains yours.

Thank you for showing interest in Bosnia! :)
