I am not saying that being a gypsy is bad, my apologies if you thought I meant that. If he is a veteran than he might be right. My question to you is: Is the veteran a bosniak or is he from another culture? Just a random question :)
They were not made by gysies, who would even say that? That is an insult. The Black Swans were made up of war refugees in Bosnia as Ado13 said before. As I said before, they were NOT made by gypsies and they were bosnians fighting for what they love and for freedom.
Most of the Black Swans were refugees, some the only survivors of families obliterated by Serbian ethnic cleansing. They began as a few dozen men who had been driven from their hometown, Bijeljina, in the first battle of the war.
The Black Swans wore black uniforms with a unit patch on the sleeves and the ARBIH patch on the other sleeve. They had two different versions of the patches. Special Unit Army of BIH is written in white lettering above the picture and underneath in black letters are the words, "Crni Labudovi".
I have a question about your unit in your war. There name is
"Black Swans" - Crni Labudovi?????
Will you give some info ????
Hi there why does the that emblem looks like some old imperial French emblem ? just a question !
The French uses one type of lilies and we (the Bosniaks) use another type of lilie called Lillium Bosniacum, the latin word of Bosniak Lilie! :D
Thank you both for the info !
Becouse it was also the emblem of the Bosnian royal family Kotromanić En.wikipedia.org
