Rest in peace, Christopher Stevens.
He was killed in the attack on the US Embassy in Lybia. Over a movie. A stupid movie, that mocked Islam. I don't mean to say Islam is violent, but I can't recall anyone being murdered for mocking Jesus in the last 100-200 years or so. Or Buddha, or any other Religious figure. This only goes to show once again that of all Religions, Islam is the most dangerous.
In my eyes they just learned from the masters.
Not that I approve.
Another soul lost needlessly to the great beast of ignorant fanaticism.
My condolences go to his family. :(

Exactly. Even the caricatures of Muhammed in Denmark didn't spark world-wide rancor among muslims. The muslims of Denmark itself, for example, weren't all that ****** off by the incident. (IIRC)
I agree. Many of the Muslims I know are completely ok with behavior you would expect to be punished in more extreme nations such as Saudi Arabia.
This is why it is so very important peaceful Muslims condemn the madmen who claim to defend them. Their responsibility is greater than those of any other religion.
It wasn't over the movie. The people who attacked were planning this for some time.
The movie which may was one of the reasons for this escallation was made by a US-Jew author and about 100 Jews spent 3,9 million €. At least according to the German news paper "Morgen Post". If thats correct, then we have another reason to get rid of those religions, because it builds a dangerous canyon between people. Master Yoda was right again.
This got a lot worst. Now they are attacking US owned companies, harassing Americans there and setting fire to the other embassy.
We knew this would happen, whenever anybody insults islam it does. the filmmakers new people would die. but they did it anyway.

His loss was indeed tragic. Even more tragic is how our media is lying about how he died while the rest of the world knows he was actually captured by Al Qaeda, tortured, sodomized, and then murdered by them.
