By living life to the fullest you mean rebelling against the Creator and doing whatever I please and being selfish. Sounds like Satan to me (and most atheists). I have a life that was made possible by God. I would have been dead long ago if there was no God, so your argument is invalid.
Dont you think worshipping someone who doesnt even wanted to be noticed at all is selfish? If there is a god, he simply gives a ****, so worshipping him is arrogant and selfish, especially since you claim it would save us and we would gain eternal life. And ignoring that possibles god created world including that we know through science about this world and how things work is ignorant.
The so called atheists that think that it sounds like Satan are probably modern satanists that believes that they are their own god - I know several people of that kind. I dont know any atheist who think this sounds like Satan because every of them I know doesnt believe in the biblical Satan at all. Satan is the biblical evil god created by your god, if that god isnt even Satan itself.
