lol this makes kinda perfect overlook, 2 persons at start and 7 Billion in so little time (bible say the earth is 6k years old or w.e, that is not possible or what lol? but heh, the question that does god exist or not probably never gets solved :)
And why people think God god made people? Maybe it was Zeus after all who created people, or was some Egyptian God, or first life forms arrived here with metiorite, or something else... So the point is, we cant be sure anything, because there is no hard evidence to any theory, all are just guessing and hoping hes/her guess to be correct.
My personal opinion is, that God and bible was made up by cleaver persons who saw a way to gain controll over weak minded persons, and it worked out well lol. But anyone can beleave what they want, some, like me, are living in reality and dont go after things what can not be proven or seen or w.e lol.
I agee with you, the Bible is very clever. However, that does not excuse it from the crap it receives today. It seemed quite believable back then, but now it's clear (for a person with an actual open-minded brain) that organized religion isn't just the only answer anymore.
Now, I have no idea who created this Earth and for what reason, but I am determined to find out who or 'what' caused it. Even if I to research through all the ******** people make up
well yea, bible has been built up very good. Back like 2k years or so there was no paleontology or diggin up bones of dinosaurs and it was created because people needed an explanation for why or how we were created, or something born to this world. Every place in the world created their own theory, christianity is just most know religion.
I have nothing agains the beleavers, only some who are extreme and want to force their beleaving on the others lol.
and think about this: if there would not have been made religion like christianity or any other so extreme, then the world technology would be way ahead than now. Cause the church forbid all technology creation and stories that talked against god during medieval time. All who were brilliant in science were jailed or killed or burned and so on, cause they were living in reality and were smart lol. so we are behind of would be technology by like 200 or 300 years lol.
Well, to be fair religion can't be completely blamed for the lack of technological advancement in the Medieval times, it had more to do with how the system collapsed after the Roman Empire fell. Even the Byzantine Empire, which flourished with advanced technology during the Medieval times, was Eastern Orthodox Christian. That, and religion was needed in the earlier days of man to unite people under some organization or leader, so I think that religion has actually benefitted us so far.
These days though, we've got science and reason, and we don't need religion anymore to give us that form of organization. We're starting to notice it doesnt make sense, and imo it's bogging us down :l
