Transport helicopter.
It strongly resembles a chinook, although it was introduced earlier
maybe the yanks took the chinook design from this thing?
Whats that behind it, looks alot like a chinook and is round unlike this.
F-35's are direct descendent of Yakolev 141's design, but the Yak still looks more awesome :P
No both the Americans & the Soviets copied a Nazi plane called the Focke-Wulf Ta 183 fighter & from it they created their F-86 Sabre & Mig-15s respectively.
