Description
Since both the Saeqeh and Tigersharks are upgraded F-5s and the Tigershark can match the F-16 in performance, what is stopping the Saeqeh from being a badass Eagle/Falcon Hunter?
Bottom line: Why the hell people call the Saeqeh shit when it has been already proved by the US that a modernized F-5 can still kick Ass?

Hey,I am here to enjoy aircraft's too.BUT there is some people who will just insult a good aircraft just because it is not there's or used by a nation who dose not support their policy.I posted both first two picture for your enjoyment,this one is just my humble attempt to stop people from insulting a good aircraft without even knowing a thing about it.

F-CK-1 wins
F16 is more popular for some reason. So it was used and upgraded more then F5. I don't know much about F5, but look at first and last version of F16. If Tigershark can beat first F16 version, I am not sure if it can beat the last. Both missiles and radar technology advanced during years, and I don't know much about Iranian technology (I believe there are just few people who knows). If they are equal planes, then it's matter of numbers and pilot trainings. American pilots are spoiled with their technology so there is good chance for Iranians. Anyway, very good pilot can beat average pilot in better plane. There are many examples in history and even today. I wish good luck to them.
In a dogfight sure the winner would be the f5 tiger and if updated version probably it could win against an f16 with misiles, BUT thats cause the F5 is a pure fighter while the F16 is a multirole
