looks good, but what's new? it's quite old prototype. It's not stealthed.

I know this wing shape has better air flow, but it's hard to material construction.

You know its not hard to slap on a coat of radar absorbent paint :/ a couple of modifications & its easily made into a 5th gen fighter that can easily compete with other 5th gen craft. Hence the reason why it has great potential.

I wonder why USA invested many millions dollars to rectangular shape stealth while russians only invented this radar absorbent paint...

But why the 5th gen craft? what's really new except better maneuvering?
Missiles are still faster and only defence are countermeasures and lower the engines for the impact moment

Actually neither Russians nor Americans invented radar absorbent paint it was the Germans in WW2. Its was used for the Horten brothers flying wing prototypes & mainly for intended their Amerika bomber.

Thats said their really weren't any true American aircraft & space programs they were in fact a continuation of German programs thanks to operation paper clip. >>

That said Russians also copied quite a few things from Germans after WW2 & used any captured scientists to further their own tech.

As I know, it's just a prototype for constuctors to play with. The same as the PAK-FA - they collect the data and then make plane for masses ))
