Not so, according to Igor Korotchenko (he's the director of the Center for Analysis of World Arms Trade, of course you knew that because you read the article though, right?) the A-60 platform itself had been grounded but the actual program was still running even during the 80's.
RT is state funded, yes, but so far its reports have coincided so well with actual events that I'd easily say you'll find more truth than lie from that site than you would most other alternatives.
As to it being Putin's propaganda channel I'd like to know exactly how you based your deduction on that matter. To me that sounded like it came straight from Wikipedia.
well, this pic suggest "ideLOLog" to crawl back to the hole from what he came (since he's trying to start a Putin-related flamewar all over moddb, even in humor group Moddb.com)
...or he's just not straight:D minorities hate our president very much for some reasons:) anyway, it's just side effects of democracy and freedom of speach:)
1. I'm not a troll in general. 2. Yes, I'm russian. 3. I hate the current regime, but I still see myself as a patriot. 4. Nasorog has been having a serious butthurt since our private discussion not long ago. 5. If you are a stupid putinist like Nasorog, than for you I'll really be a troll.
Насорогу: ДА, родной! И останусь на связи, пока ты жив. Так что лучше убейся.)))
You have yet to state a reason for your (so far) irrational anger towards the Putin administration, and are starting to make it seem more likely that you are, as Nasorog stated, a part of some disgruntled minority, which is fantastic because disgruntled minorities are the results of a well run democratic country, or as close as you're going to get to one anyway. Maybe you should take a look at what Mr. Putin has actually done for your country before spewing anti-Putin rhetoric without any founding.
I am not a "Putinist" (whatever the hell that is, can't say I've come across that term before) but I certainly hold a great deal of respect for a man that has done more for your country in recent years than many a leader has in his entire life.
snork!
That plane just burnt. Also, RT is nothing more than a Putin's propaganda channel.

Ah, I see. It appears that ideLOLog is either a troll Russian or just a general stirrer of Russophobia. Eh, he can suite himself then.
