Developed by Pakistan and China. :D
Fun fact: This plane is actually a heavily modified/upgraded Mig-21/J-7.
I wonder, if this is put against the Saeqeh, which would win?
My money is on the JF-17, that's primarily because I know a heck of a lot about it, and almost nothing about the Saeqeh, and also because Pakistani pilots would ace Iranian pilots any day. B)
And, I don't believe that this has anything in common with the Mig-21 and F-7, other than the fact that it'll leave 'em both in the dust. :P
the Saeqeh is a good aircraft as is based on the f5, in dogfights the f5 have won against f16 and f18, probably cause the small size and the two engines, now nobody knows how updated are the electronics and radar are, while the jf16 has similar electronics than a mirage2000-9 or a F16 block 50

Yeah right. Am armed force that can't even prevail against a group of half-trained militia can go against a battle hardened Iranian armed force that had fought and beaten back an vastly superior army.

Check it's history. It's a further evolution of the "Super-7".

A Mig-22bis or an F-7 BG/BGI cad go toe-to-toe with this plane in an visual range dogfight.

MiG21 indeed, but original MiG is hidden very well. Anyway, I like it.
About Saeqeh, I don't know much about F5, but it is not well known of serving in USAF in combat (Like F16, F18...). I just think that plane is too lightweight... Today it depends on electronics, not the plane itself.
