Indeed. They had a concept for a sub-orbital hypersonic bomber during WW2
Yeah, they were definitely the forerunner of today's airforce, most US and Russian aircraft has their design roots from these concepts and prototype.
if someone could get hitler out of the story. But incentivate the creation of those bombers, i would really like to have 1
