Well you need to consider also that this is looks like Air show , and those (Flares) are being shot out of the Heli . Since who in the Right mind would shoot at their own Heli , with Phosphorous (Which is a Banned Agent) around People .
And the Image looks too clean for a fire fight shot -,^
It was doing a barrel Roll. And helicopters wouldn't go down like this when there are no parts missing.
Come to think of it , I don't think helicopters Go down like this at all , If they lose control they go down by spinning sideway.

Since its in a British airshow it might be a WAH64 (Apache AH1), then again it might be an AH64.
As its kinda hard to tell from this image.
