Shame there are no good winter mods. No deep snow, blizzards etc that would be awesome. Imagine the outfits, protecting not only from anomalies, but also from cold - you would have to choose either high protection or warmth, or drinking vodka not to treat radiation poisoning but to warm yourself :)
The sky is the limit, but it would require incredible amount of work...
You can always roleplay with one of the snow mods I'm pretty sure I've seen around, but I agree that would make for a badass mod.

I am gonna do gameplays and share it with you guys, I cannot wait, first should be up in the weekend.
These mods only change textures, what gives the feel of winter is actual high snow lying on the ground, in which you fall in, which is slowing you down, but gives visual cover and lets you hide in it. The ground painted white isn't the same...
I do not even know some kind of game where you can actually dive into real snow but it would be cool to find out
Yes, sadly it's neglected in games. CoH2 has great snow effect. In FPP games it wouldn't be that hard to implement, slowing down would work just like water, snow deformation just like damage model in racing games. Properly optimising it would be a challenge, but what don't you do for dreams... :)
