Zombie Grinder is the debut game of TwinDrills, an indie game development duo made up of Tim 'Infini' Leonard and Jordan 'Jordizzle' Chewning. It's a multi-platform (windows, mac, Linux!) (also Free!) cooperative multiplayer arcade game, reminiscent in style and gameplay of retro games like 'Zombies Ate My Neighbors' and 'Super Smash TV!', but with the added benefit of some newer game mechanics - achievements, ranking, player-customization, rpg style stats and so forth. The game sports a variety of different game modes, from co-operative 'campaign' style levels, to wave maps and even the classic 'pvp' style game modes - deathmatch, capture the 'bag' and so forth. All of these mods are bristling with a variety of weapons and items, all lovingly displayed in Jordan's classic quirky pixel-art style.

Bask in the 360p glory!!!

The first thing you may or may not notice is the FPS has been drastically improved (when I'm not killing single zombies with rockets)! Also added support for user-specific gear! My top hat was originally a halo, but I wanted to kill some Zombies with class! Enjoy the footage, and please leave feedback!! :)

Wow, first off the game looks incredibly fun.
the aiming looks like it could take some getting used to, but from what im seeing its worth it.
also i like how the player dies at the end. maybe add more blood and guts to your death?

The aiming is basically you aim in the direction you're walking, and you have a strafe button you hold to keep yourself facing a certain direction :) Also, more gibs and gore will be added :D

I doubt it. It really dosen't feel right with an 8-direction sprite character :S.

Plus it will probably remove some of the difficulty.

It also kind of removes the 'arcadey' feeling we were going for.

We shall see, I may play around with it at some point.

Most of the sounds are horrible (found by me randomly on freesound, more placeholders than anything), we really need to get our audio guy working on em.
