Zombie Grinder is the debut game of TwinDrills, an indie game development duo made up of Tim 'Infini' Leonard and Jordan 'Jordizzle' Chewning. It's a multi-platform (windows, mac, Linux!) (also Free!) cooperative multiplayer arcade game, reminiscent in style and gameplay of retro games like 'Zombies Ate My Neighbors' and 'Super Smash TV!', but with the added benefit of some newer game mechanics - achievements, ranking, player-customization, rpg style stats and so forth. The game sports a variety of different game modes, from co-operative 'campaign' style levels, to wave maps and even the classic 'pvp' style game modes - deathmatch, capture the 'bag' and so forth. All of these mods are bristling with a variety of weapons and items, all lovingly displayed in Jordan's classic quirky pixel-art style.

Update V131 Is Live! With lots of call new features :3

Posted by Infinitus on Dec 13th, 2011

Update V131 Is Live.

It includes all the things Jordan mentioned in the last news post (dynamic map layouts, coins, sdk improvements, etc) and some other fun features! Hopefully we will also have a release for MacOS and Linux out within the next few days - just have to change the updating system to work with the other platforms ( totally need to get it on Desura when it's done, less fun patching :3 )!

Also, for a limited only the Cheer Bringer hat is available for the Christmas period! Unlock it (take a guess how, hint: title, EDIT:Take Code, Go To In-Game Options, Paste Code, Click Register :3) before time runs out, or you will loose your chance to look like Jordan here!

Jordan sorted it, I had the .bin unpacked when I updated. You gotta delete it and then update.

Yup. Having an unpacked Bin=Explosion with updates as it overrides a bunch of stuff :S.

We should prolly work that out, since modders prolly wont wanna have to move all their work to a new directory, delete /bin, and re-unpack, and move it back every patch ;D

No can do. Bin folder always has to take priority over the pak files, otherwise development would require constant repacking of the data files. Unfortunately this leaves the possibility of ending up running out of date files when you've updated.

Probably just going to change it so each mod has it's own bin tree.
