Zeitgeist is going down ... to the most famous, oldest underground network in the world.
Countless feet have roamed those marble floors since the middle of the 19th century, when the first tube lines were built; hundreds of movies and books tell stories about the events that happened down there.
The Zeitgeist tube system that works just like in real life can, in all modesty, be called a development milestone (at least for us since the weeks we've spent on it are over now :P).
It features 18 stations, each one with different levels and platforms, some of them with a ticket hall, ticket booths, and even shops.
There are three lines that will take you anywhere you want. We've built a dynamic system that works just like a tube system in real life to make Zeitgeist more immersive, so you actually have to study the tube map and change trains in order to get to your destination.
Richard Czerny's feet will soon get to touch those stairs and enter the trains that roll along their lines in real-time intervalls. After we've spent that mentioned good deal of time figuring out traveling concepts, custom tube lines for Zeitgeist's London and the technical background to make these things work, we're now able to present you some new media inspired by the 1930s (then ultra-modern) Piccadilly Station.
Expect the next updates to be more regular as we're now able to return to audio and visual work, with 66% of our developers having set-up their machines again after major PC crashes during october and many techincal issues having been dealt with.
