A free Space Simulation, which takes place in the X-Universe. Your task in this game is to fight against an enemy machine race called "Xenon", which is about to destroy the Community of Planets. The story is only a little part of the whole game. You can explore a huge universe with many different alien races. You can buy over 50 different ships, for example a little fighter or a huge destroyer. You can build your own space stations and so you are creating your own economic empire.

I created a little server for testing purposes. The chat is working and clients can connect to the server and see who is on the server too. Multiplayer will not be implemented in the first Alpha, but in the fullgame it will.
Also i fixed some bugs and got some awesome soundtracks from a few guys. I will release the first Alpha in this summer, when there are working space stations.

Well, I always wanted to play X with other players, so I decided to make a multiplayer game in the X-Universe. ;)

Ah I completely missed the part where it says multiplier, that's great, I've always wanted to play X online to show off my factories, what are you going to do about cap ships not taking out new players in little scout ships etc?

I am not sure, maybe players won't be able to buy the big destroyers and capital ships. Anyway, there is a "noob-protection", which means, you can't attack ships in the spawn sector.
I think the big capital ships are way to slow to attack fast scout ships. ;)

Honestly, "noob protection" is overrated. Sure, making the starting sector safe is fine, but if you expect any kind of worthwhile multiplayer gameplay you need to allow players to destroy each other's stuff. In the single player X games, destruction is an ever present and vital part of the gameplay, as it should be in multiplayer as well. Besides, players will team up to keep control of territory just like they do in EVE Online, a game in which you can lose everything overnight if you aren't careful.

Of course the players can destroy the stuff of other's.
They can join player-controlled "alliances" with own sectors to protect their stations and ships. ;)
