Home rejuvenates your mind from stress and the formal structure that humans have developed. This game takes your mind, and twists it with philosophical thoughts about a human's mindset and his or her journey through life. This game personifies that feeling, and helps you the player better understand it and describe it. This game is a short story about Noah's life and childhood and his journey and discovery with existentialism and how this affected his life.

0 comments by Noah_W on Jul 20th, 2015

Hey thanks for supporting Super Hipster Lumberjack. This has been an insane and humbling process for me. It was my stretch goal to get a game released on Steam by the time I finished high school. It means that much more with a year to go. I couldn't have done it without the help of the likes of Desura, Groupees, Itch, and Youtubers. They hosted my game on their platforms. Which got it exposure but most importantly good criticism. Those experiences matured my game making skills and helped me create a game I could be happy with. There has been a large amount of time between the Steam release of the game and when I actually finished the game. Super Hipster Lumberjack helped matured me and my newest projects are playing even better. This has been an awesome experience and I don't think it stops here. This is why I love making video games. I get to evolve the person I am. Thanks for joining me in the game making process and I hope you enjoy the game.

Hi, your game looks great! I'm downloading it right now, and I'm going to do an LP/Walkthrough of it if you don't mind.

I was one who said it's similar to Limbo by graphics. And still I think this same. I've played it and I really like this game. Most what I like is music - strongest point of game. Also it's very good there is many stops around and player need to looking for it.

I chose the art style, because it was easy pull off. I tried to distance from a limbo look the black is just symbolism for depression and the whole game isn't black. Limbo is about something else then what home is reaching for. Home is a coming of age story. The moral back drop is significantly different. Although I have never played limbo I can say that home is a lot different gameplay wise. The final product may surprise people so I hope you can get the chance to play it when it comes out. Thank you for the concern. Because it is the internet I do believe that people will reference limbo a lot but the experience you get from Home will be one like no other. Thanks for watching and checking out the game it means a lot to me.

Heh, since Limbo was realised, all black-whie platforming game will be compared to it. Gameplay is very different and it does not mean it's worse. Good work!
