Wake Up Call will be one epic adventure that any and all sci-fi fans will need to experience.
The first piece by Sam Speakman. This is a fast-paced action track, more to come today and tomorrow.
Hmm, that is interesting. I honestly haven't heard anything quite like it. I'm curious to see how it meshes with the gameplay. Keep up the good work.
Thanks man! Another will be up today and another one tomorrow along with an update.
I like these new pieces. Although I must admit that I REALLY miss the calm, almost sad feel of Collins work. If the game is meant to be post-apocalyptic then I am sorry to see the direction the music is going.
The music in a game is hugely responsible for the overall feel and atmosphere of a game. I would recommend that you put a lot of thought into what atmosphere you want, because having music that doesn't match a game can totally ruin a game. (I am not saying that is what is happening here, I am just saying please be carful not to let that happen)
We are aware of that, and I have specifically asked our composer(s) to make sure to incorporate some of Collin's awesomeness.
I am glad that you are at least putting some thought into it.
Reminds me on the Tunnel B1 Soundtrack, which isn't a bad thing at all because i loved them.
Not sure if this is also because of the compression, but you clearly can hear that it is not played by an orchestra.
Not enough dynamic, instruments play flat and plain, straight towards the listener.
I'm not a musican but i'm sure there are effects that can be used to make these instruments sound more natural.
This issue has already been addressed and the composer notified. Thanks!
