Wake Up Call is a short interactive piece that takes place inside a comatose man's mind. As you are trying to wake up, you can see your mind trying to reconstruct its basic capabilities like spatial reasoning, logic, memory, words or decision making. Your memories will also start to come back to you and maybe, you'll prove you're worthy of earning your consciousness back.
I wanted to let you guys know that Wake Up Call has been nominated for the Innovative Game Design at the Student Game Competition that takes place within CHI 2013 in Paris! Which means that I am invited to come down to Paris in about three weeks to present the game at the conference, and to make a short presentation at the actual award event. Thanks for all the support!
Wake Up Call MacOS and Linux builds are now available on Desura.

There is another Wake Up Call game in here on the IndieDB, a FPS developed by Leatharian Studios. I am sorry for any inconvenience or confusion that this...
To run the game on Mac/Linux, you'll have to download the LÖVE runtime download (link below). You can then open the WakeUpCall.love to start the game.

It works perfectly on Ubuntu, a great game with great puzzles, maybe a little short...
You need to do a lot of manuel installation before you can run this game on a clean install of ANY Linux distro. That makes it not a real Desura game, bit more a home made project. It runs on my distro after some effort, but its to short of a game for the trouble.
This is nice. :] The game needs some libraries. On Linux you may installed softwares from online sources automatically, but the Desura games won't install them for you.
On Ubuntu 12.10 I've installed these packages and everything in this game works like a charm:
libmpg123-0
libphysfs1
liblua5.1-0
libsdl1.2debian
libtiff-tools
libtiff4
libjpeg62
Didn't work for LinuxMint, or do I have to restart for these to take effect?
I am unable to play on Windows 7. It crashes immediatley after I start it.
that sucks
Sorry about that. I think I've solved all the W7 crashes that I know about, except the one that happens for some people immediately at the start, which seems like the one you have. I'll let you know if I figure it out!
It's working perfectly after the last update. Already finished it. Cool game ;)
but a bit too short
Cool! I wouldn't think the update would solve this problem as well.
Crashes immediately after launch in Linux Mint, too. :-/
Great!
That's strange...I can play it on Windows 7 without any problems. Are your drivers up to date?
