Wake Up Call is a short interactive piece that takes place inside a comatose man's mind. As you are trying to wake up, you can see your mind trying to reconstruct its basic capabilities like spatial reasoning, logic, memory, words or decision making. Your memories will also start to come back to you and maybe, you'll prove you're worthy of earning your consciousness back.

I wanted to let you guys know that Wake Up Call has been nominated for the Innovative Game Design at the Student Game Competition that takes place within CHI 2013 in Paris! Which means that I am invited to come down to Paris in about three weeks to present the game at the conference, and to make a short presentation at the actual award event. Thanks for all the support!

I have solved one issue that caused it to crash on W7 already. I'll PM you with details, maybe it will help solve your problem as well.

It's always nice to see some decent folk on here, not just a wannabe game developer trying to moneygrab like so many others.

This game doesn't warrant a price. I'm sorry but it's true.
That does not mean it's not a good game. This is a great game. Like you 've said yourself, it's only 15-20 minutes long. I only pay £1 equivalent to 1 hour of gameplay. As should everyone else, this will force 20 hour long campaigns and make games that much more enjoyable for everyone.

I refuse to pay the 7.99 that some guy wants for his 2D game that he made in GAME MAKER that is only 2 hours long, that's a bloody rip off! (I won't mention names)

I disagree with "As should everyone else", and calling out things made in Game Maker as inherently of less worth. My feelings are that a game's value doesn't necessarily equate to it's length, or the engine underpining it.

You can pause with Esc and come back later. It usually doesn't take more than 15-20 minutes to complete, so there's no save.
