Twisty's Asylum Escapades is a dark, 3D, single player, action adventure video game that is completely free to download and play.
You play as Twisty; the evil, disembodied floating brain with a mouth full of razor sharp teeth, as he makes his way through this bizarre mental facility, fighting enemies and solving puzzles in order to secure his own "early release" from the asylum.

Hi, may I ask why this is in the alphafunding tab? But it says it's free :o Or is it something on Desura's end, they've been known to put stuff in wrong tabs :p
The game is currently still in beta and Desura puts all still-in-development titles under "Alphafunding", free or otherwise.

Hey, really enjoyed your game - you got one of the most unqiue settings :D I made a Let's Play on my channel ( Youtube.com ), sadly it crashed in Part 2, maybe this helps to fix this bug.
Thanks for the Let's Play, I just watched it and that might be the best one I've seen far (I've seen about 10 or so). We'll check into that crash too.
The game is currently in beta so we still need feedback like this to help work out any remaining system specific issues. Any information you can provide would help.
For instance, are you using the stand-alone version or the Desura version of the game?
What was the exact wording of the error message?
What are your system specs (OS version, processor, RAM, and graphics card)? A DxDiag would be great.
We recently got another report of (what's likely) the same problem. I'll look into this issue as best I can; but I really need more information to help narrow it down.
I have the Desura version of this game. The exact words of the error message were:
Failed to launch item. Failed to create Twisty's Asylum Escapades process. [6: C:\Users\Natalie\AppData\Roaming\Local\Twistys Asylum Escapades\TwistysAsylumEscapades.exe]. [61.6]
I have Windows 7 Professional 32bit
The processor is Intel Q9400 2.66ghz
RAM is 4GB
The graphics card is Nvidia GeForce GTX 550Ti
I also have DxDiag
