Hello everyone! Today, we are proud to reveal our student project, T.I.M.E.S., a game in development at Supinfogame France. In July, we will be happy to release our prototype on PC, and we hope that this project will give you a lot of fun.
This first update is about the pitch of T.I.M.E.S., and the next one will explain the game concept. Until the release, we will post regular updates, adressing all the aspects of the production and our feelings during this great experience.

BACKGROUND
The Intertemporal Mayhem Encounter Show (as known as T.I.M.E.S.) is the new TV Show in vogue. Brave candidates must fight against huge enemy armies from other eras. This new kind of gladiators will use all the modern equipment available to survive. Unfortunately for them, but happily for the show, they are considerably restricted in ammunitions! Every action has its consequences and has to be measured.
Viewers are not forgotten! They have strong powers and can deeply influence the game. They can choose intermediate missions the player has to achieve, or vote to give him bonuses or penalties... The game is in their hand.
Presented by a famous host master of the game, who is charged to give information to the player via his smartphone as he is the only one able to contact the player.
SOCIAL PLATFORM
T.I.M.E.S. is a Free to Play video game. We intend to create a social platform where players can stream their games while viewers can vote to give bonuses or penalties depending on what they see in a game. Players are also allowed to get special equipment during a fight from the sponsors they chose.
As the game goes along, their avatars evolve in order to become the new stars of the show, customizing greatly their weapons and appearances. But they must be careful during the game, because death in the arena is highly punitive. Players can subscribe to assurances to avoid an unpleasant aftermath.
KEY FEATURES
- Coherent enemy behaviors, following strategies and tactics from their eras
- To feel highly powerful, using all the available modern technology
- To be under a permanent pressure, alone against an entire army with low ammunitions
- To live a phantasmagorical experience, to revisit other ages
- New social interactions between the players and the viewers
As you can see, these are exciting times for T.I.M.E.S. and there is even more coming! For further information, feel free to contact us at contact -at- times-thegame.com.
Stay tuned, and see you soon!

Looks very polished, any video footage yet?
Not for the moment, sorry. :)
A game with loneliness... I know that feel.
Bonne chance !
Hunger game meets time travel. Bonne continuation! About the streaming, I think it's a great idea, it would be nice also if the viewers could watch the confrontations using the game engine so they could have the possibility to choose the camera angle they prefer. Hearing the players talking via their mic would put more life into it as well!
My god those weapons are sexy...
How will you guys pay the engine costs? Which are huge as I can remember.
If the game is not a lucrative project, CryEngine FreeSDK is free.
So how you will maintain the game once it is out? From your own pockets?
We are students at the moment, and this game is our final year project. We will release a first prototype in July.
If it is convincing, we will think about a lucrative production.
Aha, I see. I think you should stick to it as far as I can see you have the talent. I don't know how well the game's mechanics will work, but it sounds original enough to keep people interested.
Best of luck!
