Hey you! this game is soo lit! check out my gameplay on YouTube:
Well done game. Off to a great start. However, does every level have to have a time limit? And is there a way to have in-level saves?
Thanks for your feedback bhovey90! I'm thinking of making the timer 5mins. What do you think?
Psd
5 minutes is fine. No timer would be better so we can pace ourselves and enjoy your level design more.
I see your point, but I think the game plays best running around like a lunatic, I kinda want an arcade feel(as I want to port to mobile at some point), but a lot of people have mentioned not liking the time limit, it's something I'll need to figure out for sure!
Tbh if I was going for just pc, I'd make it more objective based, traditional but that's been done before. I'll see if I can find a better balance, maybe objectives could be side-quests, keep pc gamers happy but not required to beat the mission.

I understand where you are coming from now that I know you have ambitions to have a multi platform game. Frankly, I am more of a tactical shooter player and a less run and gun FPS guy. I see that you want to be a pioneer, but what has been done before is oftentimes what's proven to work.
No One Lives Forever, Goldeneye 64, The World Is Not Enough, all seem to be succeeded by this game you are developing. They had no or minimal time limits imposed. Again, it is your decision.
Cool, i'll be following the progress
Hopefully you'll make it as close as possible to the inspiration 007/Goldeneye, give us something closer to the walther for example, heh. If you ever get to that, ragdolling would be a step up from repetitive death animations, good luck
