The One Train is in Alpha development, with an AI currently being created. We are also going through the process of updating the textures, in order to make the game look less low-quality. Stay tuned for more information, we're going through constant updates!
Features:
-Jumpscares
-A monster that chases you around
-Built on the Unity engine
More is being added, this page will be updated constantly.
We are getting more people to help us develop the game. Over the course of a few weeks, 2 more people will be helping us work on the project, both of which have experience with 3D modeling and the Unity engine. Development will definitely speed up, plus we will be working to increase the texture quality as well. UPDATE: We're also getting another person to help with some new textures and sounds, which will improve the quality of the game.
Major changenotes (NEW):
-(10/27/14) Enemy AI added
-(10/30/14) Added a few models of tables, chairs, hallways, and a few trapdoors + hidden doors, as requested - I'll add an image later.
-(11/6/14) Added enemy 3D model
-(11/6/14)[IN PROGRESS] 2nd level/part of the game
-(11/11/14)Added keys and locked doors
-(11/18/14)[IN PROGRESS] Battery system for flashlight
The enemy AI has been completed and added to the game (Yes, he goes through walls as of now to make it a bit more scary). We've also added some chase sound, sort of like Amnesia where you hear something when the monster is chasing you. The video below is a sort showcase of this function. IMPORTANT: The reason that the monster has no model is that we are currently working on it in Maya, this video was just made to show the AI function (Chase, etc.)
Thanks for reading!
We've made some updates to textures - this should make the game's graphics look a little bit better.
Honest Ubre.
Nice game, there is almoust no animation, sound, textures, models and story but i am looking forward this, also it's just an alpha and i am pretty sure there is a lot of work to do.
Yes, sorry about that. We're currently working on a textures rework to make that look better - we'll also add some entities to make the scenes look a bit more lively. Thanks for the suggestion!
the textures look very stretched and the scenes look very blank. But I like the stories concept and hope you can make something great from it.
