At SomniuM's core there is a 2d shooter heart and, as in any other shooter, weapons are a key component, so this month's news will be all about the firearms of SomniuM.
Our hero Jack will start his adventure with his faithful handgun, but that's only the first piece of his arsenal: in SomniuM there are over 20 weapons in 8 different classes: handguns, assault rifles, shotguns, SMGs, light machineguns and so on, you name it, we've got you covered. Standard weapons alone aren't that useful against a horde of robotic monsters therefore, to help you even further, you have a selection of add-ons and special ammos, which combined together turn every weapon in your hands into a deadly tool!

In the Arcade/Classic mode you'll receive new weapons randomly, during specific events (like a boss fight) or as a reward for how you play: the more damage you cause, the higher your score, the better weapons you'll get! New weapons, add-ons and special ammos will be dropped by enemies or fall from the sky, already packed up and ready to be used, no shop, no inventory, no worries: just grab 'em all and start wreacking havoc! No weapon left behind!
In RPG/Modern mode it's all about choices, do you love handguns? Cool, upgrade your handgun with some add-ons which increase its damage, precision, magazine size and so on. Is it still not enough against the strongest enemies? Then buy a better one or get a brand new weapon: the Native's local store is there for you, the brothers running the shop will be more than happy to help you in your mission, providing you with the best weapons, add-ons, standard and modified ammos, just remember to bring some fruits and enemy energy cores with you, these gears ain't for free, y'know!
