Hi, When I am playing the game and save it appears to work fine. But when I go to reload it later for some reason it comes up with a loading screen and then takes me back to the main menu. When I try and start a new game or delete the save and try to start again, it will not save the game at all. It will either tell me that A) It simply cant save The only way I have found to fix this right now is to uninstall, wipe all traces of the game from my hard drive and then reinstall. Is there a better way to resolve this as I don't want to have to keep restarting. My specs are, Windows 7 Home (64bit) |

Yeah the folders are normally there as I thought something like that could be an issue myself. There are 4 files in the save game folder right now 7pa2c_data I've changed the permission to remove read only however it's still not letting me save any new games. There is also in the soccc folder a folder called Error Reports which is empty and that is it in that folder. Just the two folders. |

That is strange... can you send me your entire soccc folder? |

Hi, I'm having the exact same issue. I've uninstalled and reinstalled, I've changed the permissions, but nothing seems to help. It looks like a realy fun game, but it's really frustrating to not be able to save. Any fixes? Thanks. |

I have to admit, I just suffered the same problem. The 'end of day' save put up an error, saying it could not be saved. I then tried the save and quit option from the Game menu, and it appeared to save, but when looking at the saved games, there is nothing there. Any ideas? Edited by: mintyjones |

Hey. Check the errorlogs folder (c:\users\yourusername\appdata\roaming\soccc\errorlogs). Is there anything there? |

In my case, no. |

Have you got the proper privileges in the soccc folder? |

There is nothing in the error log folder, although I do note that there is one .xml file in the SaveGames folder |

I'll give it another go, just to check once more - it's been a few days since i booted it up. Just was thinking about it last night! Edit - I've just blasted it up, so tempted to play for a while, but tested save. When I use the option 'save and quit' it fades to a black screen with the yellow text "Saving...", then goes back to the main menu. There's no option to 'Continue', so after pressing "Load Call Center", I'm presented with all 'empty slots'. I've tried this a few times to verify. Now if I look in my Save folder, there are four files, randomly named, much the same as Chrisom1 above. Nothing in Error logs, and the settings file only contains the following text: 0.3367 That's all I've got! Playing on a laptop on Windows 7. Good luck in replicating aheydeck! Bump. No solution to this problem yet....? Thanks Edited by: mintyjones |
