Heh, apologies for the loud sounds. Assume it adds to some sense of realism.

No harm done. Sometimes realism needs to be tuned down a bit to provide pleasant play.

@Justinvh About RReborn, according your summary, the goal of the project is to: "incorporate all the elements of the original R6RS while upgrading and providing new features without drastically altering the core game-play." With that, may I remind that R6RS is one of the most realistic FPS ever created and thus this mod should maintain that aspect.

From what I've seen so far, my input would be:
1) Make the hands a bit more centered, because we aim a pistol almost dead center on our chest, in line with our dominant eye.
2) Option to turn off crosshair.
3) It's paramount that iron sight can be utilized, and don't forget to simulate tunnel-vision by blurring the sides (if the engine permits).
4) The ammo shouldn't countdown by bullets but by magazine. So reloading wastes whatever amount of ammo left in the magazine. It prompts players to maintain ammo-conservation and trigger discipline.
5) Option to turn off the HUD that shows how many bullets left in the magazine.
6) We don't rack a pistol slide everytime we transition guns. Please cut that racking motion during transition. Taking off the safety is more appropriate.

7) Remove that yellow progress bar during reloading. We all can see the progress with the hand slamming fresh mag into the gun.

Description

This video just demonstrates some of the work in progress stuff going on. In this video I fire a few rounds, show the chambered reloads, and mess around with the sound to show how we can mimic loss of hearing and blurred vision from stun grenades. Everything is a work in progress of course and there is a lot to tune, fix, and even rework.
