Created in homage to Populous, Reprisal lets you take control of a tribe, guiding them, building land and making them grow in number. Using special totem powers you can control nature itself unleashing its full fury on anyone that stands in your way. But be warned, other tribes may not take too kindly to your intentions and will put up a fight! Desktop edition includes: Enhanced full stereo chip tunes to nod along too, Unlock-able challenge islands, Offline local storage and Enhanced full screen display features! It also includes a full standalone PC installer and Mac App version. Includes 'The Making of Reprisal', a 38 page digital book charting the highs and lows of over a years development! ★★ Reprisal is now on Green Light ★★

We are excited to announce for those of you on Linux, we have made a first look Beta build of Reprisal which you can have a play with. What's so different about this build is that it's an AIR-less build which means you don't have to have AIR installed!
We have been working hard to make this completely stand-alone. It’s beta and so your feedback to get Reprisal to the Linux community is appreciated. You can download it now, for free here:

Because it is still in development your feedback is valued so please post anything you may find or any problems you have. If you are an existing owner of Reprisal you will get a Steam key for free on request and we are looking to add more content for it's release if it's Green lit!

This is certainly the best indie game I've ever played.
saw them playing this on twitch on gamespot.it looked fun couldnt find it on steam so i wandered and found it on desura
Also, it is on Steam Greenlight, so definitely give it a big fat "yes" so we can have it there too.

Glad you found it! :D
Hello, will there be an update soon, there doesn't seem to be any content yet that isn't in the free version? Maybe sets of themed levels like you get to later on in the first Populous. Like candy or electronic worlds.
Yes hopefully I'll be able to add more, I'm just finishing off another game I've been helping with for the past 2 years but as soon as that's released I'll be revisiting :D
I am very glad to hear it your going to revisit Reprisal and that your still devoted to it. In the age of cloud gaming, you can definately re-monitzie this game with new content to keep drawing in new players. Any chance we can hear about the othe game your working on?
The new game is called Battle Keep which is going to be a multi player boom-em-up! We are working hard on getting this finished and is top of our list at the moment. It's been a long development process! More news hopefully soon ...
just played the demo, it is so fun! gunna buy the full game!
Green light page just launched, lets see what happens :D
