Focusing on the Battle of Stalingrad and surrounding operations, Heroes of Stalingrad allows the player to experience one of the most brutal battles in all of human history. For the first time ever in a first person shooter gamers will be able to experience WWII from the Axis side in a German single player campaign. As always with the Red Orchestra franchise, Tripwire will aim to deliver unrivalled accuracy and attention to detail, along with gritty, vicious combat in multi-player, co-op and solo modes.
RO2 SDK soon ready to be published for all RO2 owners!
Posted by Matkailija on Nov 16th, 2011
Tripwire Interactive's Yoshiro has given a status update, what they are doing at the moment. One task mentioned was about SDK. And I think what the mod teams for RO2 are anticipating the most is the full release of SDK.
TWI's original plan was to publish the SDK with the release of RO2 or right after. Which they had to postpone. Now it's been two months without SDK. "SDK preview release" has been available for few mod teams or individual modders per request. Our team got a piece of that too in the beginning but with the beta you can't do much when copy+paste isn't functioning or compiling codes isn't possible. Couple days ago the code compiling issue got addressed with the SDK update.
But now, it looks like we're getting our SDK before Christmas after all! \o/
p.s. Don't forget that December 6th is also around the corner ;) So track us and you'll find out among the first what's up with us - [ro2.fi] Team!
