It's 5 years after World War III. You are driving along a steep cliff when suddenly a dark figure leaps at your car and send you falling, 500 metres, to your death. Strangely though, you survive the fall but lie outside the gates of an old prison and lab, miles away. As you walk through the rusty iron gates, you swear that you hear footsteps other than your own... Your only goal is to survive.

Developed by CasualTCorp and MonsterGamingHD, Project N is a first-person adventure horror game for PC and Mac (and hopefully Linux!). Its release date is still to be decided and development is painstakingly slow as there are only 4 people in the team and we are still looking for developers!

Hello IndieDB-ers!

Since the interaction demo, we have worked on a range of things. Here are some of the major changes.

Having finished working on waypoint-based AI, we've decided to move onto waypoint-free AI. Although it is significantly harder than just picking a point out of an array of places to go to, a waypoint-free AI allows movement to be TOTALLY random and erratic - something great for jump-scares!

Following a really laggy cutscene plugin I attempted to create, we've decided to "keep it simple" and use Unity3D's built in animation editor. The cutscenes are very WIP, but here is a screenshot of what's happening...

As we are using the free version of Unity3D (as you may have noticed), we cannot include any really cool effects like "depth of field" or "tone-mapping", but, we are working on some scripts to try and mimic them:

It is still debated among us; hopefully yes! If not, we will release a free first level :)

If it is not free, I will still buy it if it isn't too pricey! This game really seems to be coming along well! Keep up the good work guys!
