Masochisia
Point and ClickBased on a true story, Masochisia is the enigmatic tale of a young man coming to grips with the fact that he will one day become a violent psychopath...
Game adopts adventure and survival elements with point-and-click control. All is pixel-painted in 2D and crafted into 3D. That allows us to rotate the camera when you are walking into doors and corners making the experience much more immersive. The game engine also allows us to change the layout in runtime, or even make rooms that occupy the same physical location without user ever noticing.
Game play combines several well known game mechanics known from survival games. Though, rather than copying, the game builds on them to bring a new experience. The detail of how the game behaves is planned to be undisclosed. It is the core challenge for the player to uncover the mechanics, master it and ultimately beat the game. Only disclosed detail is that the mechanics is deterministic.
