Platinum Arts Sandbox is a free open source 3D Game Maker, world creator and 3D Game Design program currently being used in many schools throughout the world that allows kids and adults to create their own video games, worlds, levels, adventures and quests, even cooperatively! The goal is to make it accessible to kids but also powerful enough for full game projects. With a simple click and roll of a mouse wheel users can modify the world however they want. In the words of a nine year old Sandbox whiz I babysit for, “Press Edit and go fulfill your dreams!”. Now features new game modes such as sidescroller, machinima, kartmode, RPG, and more!

whats the diffrent form the multi plat form ?
The multiplatform version works on *nix operating systems and possibly mac, its probably in source code form so it would have to be compiled to work on your specific system. This version is precompiled, but only works on windows.

can we make weapons and other stuff to kill each other in multiplayer?
cus i there were no weapons it would kind of be a dissapointment for me
but still a nice sandbox game
Not to sound rude, but there is MUCH more to gaming than killing.
I use this to create beautiful landscapes which then serve as inspiration to create again.
For me it's an inspiration engine.
Ps. I think it's open source (Don't quote me on that), so if you are so inclined, you could code your own weapons in. Have Fun.

It's kinda annoying that this looks much prettier than Sauerbraten/Cube 2 does. The Cube 2 team should implement all the upgrades that the Platinum Arts guy's did to their engine, since PA is built off the Cube 2 engine.
some of the 'upgrades' are of relatively questionable quality :P
it's more than sauerbraten still has a lot of old and ugly stuff, along with the new and pretty.
and in all seriousness, our 'upgrades' to the engine are quite minimal
I love this tool, if that's what you can call it. really fucking simple to use. I love it.
