Pioneer is a space adventure game set in the Milky Way galaxy at the turn of the 31st century. The game is open-ended, and you are free to explore the millions of starsystems in the game. You can land on planets, slingshot past gas giants, and burn yourself to a crisp flying between binary star systems. You can try you hand at piracy, make your fortune trading between systems, or do missions for the various factions fighting for power, freedom or self-determination.

It's an amazing game for me as long I stay clear of Sol for the time being.

Whenever I get near or start in the Sol system the game crashes on me. My stderr.txt says "libpng warning: iCCP: known incorrect sRGB profile" and I believe it has to do with the heightmaps for Earth and Moon. I'm on Win 7 64-bit.

Hi Eegah. This is a known issue that the devs are looking into. As soon as they solve it I will upload a new build. I know that doesn't help you in the meantime, but I suggest you try one of the older builds for now. Unfortunately these things can happen from time to time with a game in Alpha. Thats one of the reasons why I leave all the previous builds available on here, just in case. ;)

I'm having a problem, I play with the linux version and actually I can't engage hyperdrive, I select target in galaxy map, then I return to normal view, press F7 and... doing nothing. It just don't works and it's simbol in normal view is empty (I don't know if there should be something in there) can it be a bug?

Hi Eomodor. Thanks for dropping by. I assume you have made sure your ship has the range and fuel for the trip, then yes you might have found a bug. Drop by and see if that issue has been reported. If not, it would be helpful placing the issue on Git Hub as the devs will see it right away and can look into it.
