My mappack for OpenArena. ATM 11 maps, 6 CTF and 5 DM.
AM/NK stands for Armageddon_Man/Neon_Knight, which are my 2 nicknames. :P
This mappack contains the following maps, all GPL-ed and with sources. This is the map listing:
I suggest you to update to OA 0.8.5. See the readme files (or go to OA forums) for the links.
Details about the stuff:
- The map hydronex3 has Single DOM support, with 5 points.
- All the CTF maps support CTF, 1FCTF, Harvester, Overload, eCTF and DD. am_galmevish2 also supports Harvester and DD.
- am_galmevish, am_underworks and oa_bod are the only maps on the mappack which don't have any of the Team Arena's stuff. Even tho, many of the other maps were designed to counter the possible unbalance issues. So I HIGHLY recommend to play this pack without disabling any item.
- Older versions of the pack had 20 maps, but many of these were cut off and (ATM) are on halt, with a lower priority in my todo list. The maps are: am_harv-sod, (which was an experiment on the Harvester gametype) am_icyhell, (which was a poor attempt at doing an icy map) dm4ishv2, (which, even if it looks great, and can run great, had many issues I can't deal with) oa_dm1v2, (kit89 was doing another version, so I've dropped this and helped him) oa_dm5v2, (simply didn't work as I've expected) q3dm6ishv3 and q3dm6ish-ctf. (Which were cut-out due to leilol's no-Q3-remakes for later versions decision. I could have included them anyways, but I wouldn't be able to work in them in short time) These older versions also had extra stuff such as new/improved GFX, which was dropped because Udi took on these on 0.8.5 and improved them. And I think his work is better than what I've done. :)
