While Judgespear handled a feel tweaks and bugfixes in the main source I used my time to finish 2 of the game's playable characters: Wario and Roll.

Wario's had all his suits filled in. His suits are powerful, but his slow speed and oversized body take it's toll on the greedy fellow. All that's left to add is his greed system: increasing the odds he gets coins and prizes, but also at increased risk of losing them.

Here's some videos showing off his powers, as well as a few interesting bugs we ran into along the way:

Roll is also complete. She brings Megaman style gameplay to the table. Roll has lots of ranged combat, but lacks stomping, speed, and defense. Compared to Arthur she has a bigger suit selection, but no double jump, multi-derctional aiming, and a small, ammo dependant RM weapon selection. Her buster is free, but very weak and does not travel through walls:

Just for the heck of it, here's a new video of Link showing his recent gameplay revisions:

Maybe Joy2Key a controller emulator. The internal joystick support our development kit (Game Maker 7.0) provides isn't able to properly cover the game's range of controls, simple as they are.

Roll is so cute, great choice! And her halo-suit charged shot look great, with the pushback!
I love that music on the first Wario video, reminds me of my gameboy...

The paralax on some of these levels isn't set up right. The farthest background layer shouldn't be moving faster than foreground layers.

Ah, you mean stage "1-5". So it is.

That's just a tech demo stage, so no real thought was put into its design. That stage doesn't even exist in the master source, so don't worry about it. It won't be in any official release.

Why not both? Zero is a long term WIP as Vile's clone.
