And the soldiers look like they are actually climbing the ladder, but that still ain't much.

With the information we have thus far, TW has needed to make an entire new engine. So technically we're still at an earlier stage of development. Since there's still lots to do, having people actually climbing ladders is a pretty big step forward for the franchise. Especially because castle assaults will be larger, with multiple entrances.

Hm... this does look awfully similar. There's already mods available for Warband which simply edit the scenes to add more entrances into the castle ie. more ladders and such.

Then again, people seem to forget that a siege in the traditional sense that people want cannot really work with the miniscule numbers of soldiers that M&B usually uses.

It's a tricky situation. :P

True. But what I don't like is that even the textures look equal, just with better quality :/

i honestly don't mind it looking sort of the same or playing sort of the same.

but siege in general REALLY needs to get improved. even this won't cut it. we need Ai climbing up 4-5 ladder SIMULTANEOUSLY, AND have siege towers, trebuchets, catapults, Ballistas??

make it a real SIEGE.

Also, they could have back grounds noises of tebuchets and catapults crashing everywhere with people shouting. Have some more scenic detail :)

There should be a way to break down the walls through siege artillery or something of that nature.

I really wouldn't mind a warband with better graphics, but from what I'm seeing they are pushing it a bit further which is really nice. It would be cool though during sieges if they had the possibility for siege weapons and stuff
