The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind is an epic, open-ended single-player game where you create and play any kind of character you can imagine. Be the noble hero embarking on an epic quest, or an insidious thief rising to leadership of his guild. Be a malevolent sorcerer developing the ultimate spell of destruction, or a reverent healer searching for the cure to a plague. Your actions define your character, and your gameplay changes and evolves in response to your actions. Confront the assassins' guild, and they take out a contract on you. Impress them, and they try to recruit you instead. No two sagas are the same in the world of Morrowind. Gameplay is further extended with the inclusion of The Elder Scrolls Construction Set (bundled with the game). This powerful tool is being used to create the entire game, and will also allow players to modify and add to Morrowind in any way they see fit. This Mod Lets the Player Play a lute by using the Insert, Home, Page Up, Delete, End, and Page down keys to play notes, and the arrow keys to play chords (G, C, Em, D).

*Lute of MWSE* Thrown Together by Xargoth with about 99% of the scripting done by Jac Email: Website: =NFORMATION= This adds a single lute to Six Fishes in Ebonheart. When you get it, equip and draw.Once drawn, press the insert-pagedown keys on the keyboard to play individual notes and press the arrow keys to play chords. Click with it drawn to bash it against somethingand hear sound and all. Sheathe it to stop playing, and re-equip it to play again. For you Zelda fans, the notes are the same as Zelds Ocarina of Time's Ocarina. So now you can play all of the songs from that game, in Morrowind. This is dependant on Morrowind Script Extender. *CREDITS* Jac for showing me the basic Script shell I needed for me to use Phijama For the Lute Mesh and textures.

Finally! I get to be a Bard. Honestly I have no idea why it took so long for someone to come up with this, I'm just glad it has been done.
It feels like something you wanted to play as but never got the chance, like playing as a werewolf or necromancer in Oblivion.
I use the arrow keys for movement though, I would like to be able to play it while traveling... any suggestions?

If you know the basics of scripting, you can use Mwedit to edit the scripts used for the lute. Using the guide here you can substitute for the keys you want to play it with. Other thing you could try is setting your Speed to 0 while playing it.
