I'm probably not gonna use sprint as much as boats (rivers FTW) but i might use it to jump over lava on the good old caves (i went deep in a cave system today and found diamonds near LAVA),i'll probably take on lava jumps and share my save with my friend so he can fail at parkour......

Are mobs a little faster now so that they outrun you when you walk?
If not then the sprint thing just seems a little pointless

Blue_Dust Sep 2 2011, 4:27pm replied:

The sprinting helps the player move faster aswell as adds some realism to the game making it feel more modern-like and another thing is when you sprint your hunger will increase meaning that you can't just sprint all day long and expect not to get tired.....

Realism? Go stick to your ****** CoD game. I liked Minecraft for its more retro look.
