Minecraft is a first-person fighter/sandbox construction game created by Mojang AB.
It can be more resistant, but it's still good for cover and useful for hunting monsters.
The black stone can be made by colling lava with water or you can find it near lava pools. It's amazingly resistant (I haven't tried TNT on it yet). You can only collect it using a pickaxe made from diamonds (but breaking one block takes time).
skeletons will easily kill the person inside the bunker.
Indeed.
If you are standing still, yes. But if you make simple moves left and right- no.
I was thinking all the time that best idea would be wooden door instead of windows so like you open door shoot with bow and close it so its like omfgawesome
I wonder, can creepers destroy that stone? Or TNT?
nope, only diamond pickaxes can destroy obsidian, or some random glitch O_O (i tested tnt and creepers)
All can destroy Obsidian, but needs more TNT or 20 creepers.
(With diamond pickaxe you can get the Obsidian, with Iron/Wood/Gold(Oh noes)/Stone Pickaxe/Axe/I dont remember the name, gawd danmit you can destroy it.)
Explosions can NOT destroy obsidian. Tested with 6x6x6 obsidian cube and 2000 TNT.
Put simple glass blocks in the holes, so that skeletons can't shoot in.
even better, fences. less expensive, good window material AND doesn't use any limited resources, as wood can be made by planting trees
Fences can also be moved, unlike glass.
fence windows? clever
great for cottage things and villages :3
I love you
Move the openings down one and the obsidian up 1 and then you can hit their feet instead. Monsters are stupid.
Lol nice, you maed black block naemd obsidian d00d
That **** is great, just use the glass as WerQ said, and make the bunker 1 more block tall.
I like how everyone just started throwing around design tips out of nowhere.
we all have OCD. by the way, your name could do with removing the underscore, and there are WAY too many pixels in your avatar. XP
Actually, I made this bunker for hunting monsters, not for covering- I can shoot the enemies from the windows, or from the roof.
Instead of building a bunker, build a pillbox (larger flat bunker sunken 1 block in the ground, with windows on three sides and covered entrance on fourth). Monsters will charge you, but not attack you in any way. You can easily kill them, but be aware of spiders if you make windows two blocks or wider.
Edit: It seems it already IS sunken in ground, but still seems too much vulnerable if you ask me.
Meh, to me this would be the little house I stay in when im far away from my main base :p
How about a house with steel doors for walls, if you place them right you can attack the mobs outside without they hurting you PLUS with creepers blow up near the doors, the blast radius wont be so big
Is there a reason that the floor is composed of gravel? is there like hole on the bottom so when your bunker is about to be overrun by mobs you break one block and everything including you fall through, hiding you.
