Minecraft is a first-person fighter/sandbox construction game created by Mojang AB.
Unfinished map I have been working on today, nothing impressive, just a transport network based in the Nether with a player made npc village outside the one finished destination. Was mainly as a test to see how I could use Quartz, I thought I would upload for anyone interested, if enough people like it I'll continue it and upload the finished save later. This requires the latest snapshot (13w03a) and was made using cheats enabled to access creative and be able to use the map for survival later. When you spawn your inventory should be empty and you should be on the survival game mode.
looks nice but i think i will wait for 1.5 before downloading ;)
I use Multi-Minecraft to test out the newest snapshot, keeps the last stable version safe and totally separate. But yeah as long as they don't remove anything for 1.5 which is in the snapshot it should still work fine.
multi-minecraft allows that? i use magic lanucher :P
I haven't used magic launcher yet, yeah Multi-Minecraft lets you have 'instances' of minecraft, which basically means it has installs in different folders which never interact with each other. You can set the version to any one back to a certain point, think it was one of the early beta versions, all the way up to the latest snapshots. It's also pretty easy to install mods with, but that's down to personal preference more than anything.
Forgot to say what's in the town, it has 8 small homes, a bunk house, a large field of wheat, a farmhouse and a church built into the cliff. There is also a small dock I might expand on with a couple of houses.
So... They added marble? The update logs only say Quartz, not marble.
I don't know why my brain is trying to force me to say marble instead of Quartz, changed it now :P
