This patch fixes several bugs and adds new features to Might and Magic VII. You can see a full list if fixes here.
Made on the same engine only with improved performance, Might and Magic 7 is essentially MAM 6 with a new non linear story and a few new classes and features, even with it only being a semi expansion it still received high scores on major game review sites.
Heres a clip of what you should expect in MAM 7
There are two unique twists in the game which were not found in the previous. First, the player finds an artifact coveted by two warring factions, and has the opportunity to give it to one side or the other. The choice will make the player a subject of the favoured faction. The player may also choose to hand over the artifact to the Arbiter of the dispute, which will later seal the independence of the player's realm. Second, the player is ultimately forced to choose between serving Light or Darkness. Once the choice is made the game display permanently changes color to either white or black.
Both paths have unique classes -- for example, a Crusader can become a Hero (light) or a Villain (dark) -- and certain quests are only accessible to one side or the other. If Light is chosen, then the guards in the Darkness-aligned towns become hostile towards the player, and vice-versa. A few playable characters from Might and Magic III, with the same names and updated portraits as those in the Might and Magic III starting party, also make an appearance in this game.
Currently the project is in active development. The progress rate is not as fast as desired, for the huge amount of work sometimes overwhelms us, but we cannot afford ourselves to create an underqualified product, and we hope you understand. :)
Anyways, one of the main reasons for us to gain your attention is currently our need in new staff. The jobs we require are:
1. - Photoshop Artists (Texture making)
2. - 3D Modellers (New dungeons)
3. - 3D Modellers (New objects in low-poly)
