Melancholy Mines Windows game

Melancholy Mines is realy my last shot at a game. If this game fails im leaving game development. What i hope to accomplish is make a game with that sets a specific mood and has an immersive story. Morison is a rat... realy... they call themselves Darklighters. Man has overrun the planet they call earth and has forced the "DarkLighters" underground were they evolved into the mole/rat creatures they are today. Morison is a miner based in the shaft "Melancholy Mine" the Darklighters in this shaft are supposed to be mining for the mineral "Blueshine" that they use to light the many shafts and cities of their underground world. Morison's great grandfather was alive during "The Great Dig" were the DarkLighters moved underground. He told stories of skies of blue with white clouds. Stories of trees taller than mountains adn mountains covered in snow! He told stories of rats with wings that flew around in the sky and made music with mouths that couldnt speek. He then told Morison about something terrible that happened. The "Man in the sky" decided to make his son a gift. He took some dirt and molded the first man and then took out the mans rib and created the first woman, he then told these two humans that they had superiority over the "animals" he created. At first the "animals" and the two humans got along fine but then a snake gifted by the "Man in the sky" with speech told the woman to eat an apple off of a rather average looking tree, she denied at first but then took an apple and ate of it... then all hell broke loose... the humans had to learn to hunt and skin "animals" for some reason and the beloved "Man in the sky" was the one commanding them to do this! He then banished the humans from the forest. Thousands of ears later "mankind" returned to the forest and cut down trees with stones on sticks and hunted the "animals" and forced the Darklighters underground. Morison wanted to see these humans...
