Matchy Matchy - the JOY of matching :) Our last few years of professional game development before Matchy Matchy, had seen us working on a series of publisher led Match 3 games. Each one seemed to shrink in its ambition as the goal of chasing the next freemium target came and went. At the end of this Pete and Iain looked at each other and wondered what would the game be like that ignored all the rules, and did whatever it felt like, as long as it felt like fun. We imagined that would be Matchy Matchy - the Joy of Matching.
