Little Racers STREET is a much needed refresh to the top-down racing genre! Offering a whole 3D city with lots of different tracks and environmental effects, the game's key relies in the career mode. You'll have to start from scratch, with a low class car. Win races and complete challenges to earn credits, and spend them on car upgrades or purchasing new rides. Featuring 30 different cars, challenging opponents and varied weather conditions, this game offers hours of fun and enjoyment! The game also features an online multiplayer mode for up to 12 racers, integrated with the career mode (you can use your customized cars and earn credits by playing online). There's also a time trial mode with leaderboards, so you can compare your performance against your friends and other gamers. The game has been available on XBox Indies for some time, and was released recently on OnLive, with great user ratings (4+ stars) on both platforms.

Also this game reminds me of neo drift out somehow. Take that as a compliment, as that game had some of the tightest controls in any top down racer I've played so far.

Great little Racer! Multiplayer is good fun. The online option does not seem to work for my brother and me. He can't find my game. But we got it to run using tunngle and the Lan option. Very well thought out, that you can basicly continue your career in multiplayer. Also big thumps up for allowing bots, as most games today let you play with two cars on a huge track in multiplayer -- what nonsense!

One bug seems to occur: My brothers and mine games crash to desktop at exactly the same moment in multiplayer. After 30 minutes or so. This also happens while playing single player.

The keyboard controls need to be adjusted: Exchange Space and X and we are good to go. Space = Horn? Right, because honking is way more important than the handbrake in a racing game!

Overall: Great little game!

Of course, Horn is the most important action of the game! Sorry about that, we'll look into it.

As for online issues:

* Not finding Online games: Make sure the host has the port open (UDP 7981). Anyway, we've not been able to thorougly test the multiplayer aspect of the game, so maybe the matchmaking system isn't properly working. Also, try the "Join IP address" option instead of "Find games"/"Quick join", this option bypasses matchmaking so it should work as long as the UDP 7981 port is open.

* Crashing after 30 minutes: I find it surprising that's a crash to desktop, we have an exception handler that will show some information on the issue to help us fix those problems, so it should never cleanly crash to desktop.

Alright, I opened the wrong port (9781). I am pretty sure that port was posted here earlier, but not to worry, I will test the online multiplayer again at some point...

While I'm not really into racing games I really enjoyed this one. Good career mode, many racetracks, great soundtrack, multiple camera modes, challenges (more like achievements) and... Knight Rider! IMPORTANT: This game does not allow you to rebind keys, tho it works great with xbox compatible gamepad. You can check my gameplay here: Youtube.com

Any chance of ghost racing/replays?

Replays - Unlikely.

Ghost racing - Might be. The original Little Racers for Xbox had them and it was a great feature.

On the first release for Little Racers STREET, there wasn't a time trial feature so ghost racing wasn't included. Now that time trial is available, there's a good chance we'll add it in the future..
