Reshade and SweetFX for Kingdoms Of Amalur Reckoning. This is a Place and Play, no adjustments required. This adds post processing effect, helping to improve the overall look of the game.
Download and extract to the following location: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\KOAReckoning
Start and play.
Simply goto the game folder and remove any file references (DX, reshade and sweetfx files)
ENB and Sweetfx 1440p comparison. Both use the same settings and will look the same.
This adds post processing effects. It adds SMAA, FXAA, HDR, LUMASHARPEN, LIFTGAMMAGAIN, VIBRANCE and CURVES. DSR/VSR setup. It also adds detail, shading and lighting, while enhancing colors but not altering the base colors of the game.
This can be used in combination with any DLC, texture packs, mods or add-ons.
Game cache verification (repair) will not effect the files or their functions.
To make adjustments to Sweetfx, go to the \sweetfx folder and alter the SweetFX_settings.txt file.
Alter settings as you like.
Check the Sweetfx\Docs for information documents. Hotkeys and bindings.
Use Scroll Lock to toggle effects on/off
Using the Printscreen, will generate ingame screenshots.
They can be found in the game folder, where the files were placed.
Make a shortcut to the game folder for fast retrieval.
Use FastStone Image Viewer, to convert them to jpg or other formats.

Trouble Shooting: Mod
Install the DX9 final release if you haven't done so previously. DX9 Final Release June2010
DX install: Download and run the file, tell it to extract to c:\dx, then after goto c:\dx and run the dxsetup file.
Check to make sure you are using the newest graphics drivers.
Try disabling any turbo or overclocking software.
Nvidia users can also use this mod to allow the game to run if you have any issues.
Rename the d3d9.dll that came with this mod to d3d9orig.dll and place the d3d9.dll from that mod with it in the game folder.

If the place and play version causes issues (remove the files), use the installer version
Run it and direct it to the game exe in the game folder, set to direct3d 9, it will then install the files and say ready, close the bar.
After the installer completes, take the SweetFX_settings.txt from this mod in the sweetfx folder and place it in the game folder, sweetfx folder overwriting the generated one, this will then update the settings to mine. Check the sweetfx\docs for hotkeys and bindings.

Just create a settings file ingame, then exit the game and transfer the settings from the sweetfx setting file (from this mod) into the new reshade setting file.
