In January of 2001, Planet Half-Life and Valve Software teamed up to bring the Half-Life community a mapping contest. The winning Half-Life Deathmatch map, Rapidcore, was included in the Half-Life 1.1.0.6 patch, but what about all the other entries? We received some great maps, some which we thought should have placed, or even been crowned the winner. This map pack was put together to showcase some of the best entries we received in the contest.
