Way too open. You didn't bother to think of gameplay did you, you just opened worldcraft and mapped away.
I don't know what your understandings of gameplay are, but this is how I look at things. I'd say this is small compared to maps like gasworks or bounce, for example. I was driven by the idea of a more dynamic map for fewer players, mainly inspired by xbounce's layout.
On the second part of your post - no, this took me some time to develop, going from different types to reach this one.

The thig is, many players turned to Counter Strike and forgot about the good old Half-Life. Well, that's what WON2 is for - players who are too tied up with the original that they don't want to move on to Steam, allthough Steam houses many HL servers, I think.

I think it look´s a little bit strange, that there is concrete in the middle, but at the doors there is none, but ok.
The map is more or less ok, but I am asking myself if you can develop the fast half life gameplay in this map.
what i forgot: you put grande launcher in the map, but they only can shot at the same point, you can´t move them, therefore you canot really hit anyone with them.
About the grenade launcher - yeah, thats a big problem. You'll have to hope someone walks in the kill zone. :-)
The other chanse to make this more fun is to create an artilery guide pad.. maybe to replace the mortars.
You know, I'm not very proud of this map that much either.
To Headshot_: What do you mean about the concrete? Is it the pave texture or something else?
I liked this map 7/10.
